William Henry Harrison had a large and famous family.  His father, Benjamin Harrison, was a signer of the Declaration of Independence.  Then of course William Henry Harrison fought many battles and was elected President.  He met his wife Anna Symmes while on leave in 1795.  He was visiting friends in Kentucky at the time he met her.  Anna Symmes was the daughter of Judge John Cleves Symmes.  Judge Symmes didn't want Anna to marry William Henry Harrison but they did while the Judge was away.  They had ten children the oldest son being John Cleves Symmes Harrison.  Another son was William Henry Harrison Jr. One more was John Scott Harrison.  He was the father of Benjamin Harrison who was also elected president -1789-1793- being the second and the last Harrison President. Harrison also had a white horse named Fearnaught. In the Battle of Tippecanoe Fearnaut ran away and Harrison rode Col. Owen's horse.  Col. Owen caught Fearnaught and rode him.  The Prophet told the Indians to shoot the man on the white horse, so naturally they did.  They shot Col. Owen.  So in a way Fearnaught saved William Henry Harrison's life. That is all I know about William Henry Harrison's Family.
